Progress Update: Renovation of SWU Football Field 2 at Sirindhorn Sports Center, SWU Ongkharak

On September 25, 2025, the Sirindhorn Sports Center, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) conducted an inspection of the ongoing SWU Football Field 2 renovation project at the SWU Ongkharak Campus. The field is being upgraded to meet standard football field specifications and is surfaced with Paspalum grass, known for its smooth texture, durability, and optimal ball bounce and movement speed. The facility also includes a dedicated goalkeeper training area, designed to support both professional and amateur athletes.

Once completed, the field will be suitable for training sessions and domestic competitions, serving as a high-quality training venue for players at all levels, both local and international. The project is expected to be ready for use by late October 2025.

This development aims to enhance the quality of service, convenience, and safety for all users of the sports facilities.
